Langtang trekking
Langtang trekking fuses trekking way to the far-flung and fabulous valley of Langtang, with the elevated peak lakes at Gosainkunda and the striking Helambu Valley. Also, you will be visiting the striking Langtang National park and then walk to the last part of the valley to observe the magnificent ice flutes at Gyangchempo. And, a trek to this out-of-the-way region offers a chance to explore around ancient villages and observe the culture of people living there.
Langtang trekking commences following the Trishuli River north from Kathmandu, we pass through Trishuli Bazaar and Dhunche to reach Syabrubesi, a Sherpa community situated at the very border of the Langtang National Park. We then sway east to the Langtang valley. Also, we pass through rhododendron and oak forests and even go across glacial moraine en route to the Tamang village of Langtang. Moving further up the valley we will reach at Kyangin Gompa. Likewise, we pass through Nubamatang located in a hidden valley, while ascending to view the glaciers, which indicates the entrance into Tibet. Retracing our steps, we walk through Syabru and Sing Gompa to a highland, where the holy lake Gosainkunda is situated. Past the Laurebena Pass (4610m.), we keep on moving south, leaving the Langtang region at the back as we trek through the Helambu valley to Gul Bhanjyang. Then we make our way back to Kathmandu.
